About

Amanda Groves started AG DESIGN CONCEPTS after relocating to the Kansas City area from Chicago. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed a minor in Architectural Studies.  Amanda is an interior decorator and also has a contractor’s license in Johnson County, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. She continues to further her education in Interior Design to keep current with technology and ever-changing resources.    

AG DESIGN CONCEPTS has experience designing both traditional and contemporary spaces.  Amanda’s portfolio includes work from historic North Shore Chicago mansions to contemporary mid-century projects.  Specifically, Amanda has designed numerous kitchens and baths and acted as the General Contractor to provide project management, design consultation, assist in selecting finishes and coordinating installation of the finishes.  Amanda is not only a talented designer but her experience provides great knowledge of construction and excellent craftsmanship.
